       Working on Oro Valley’s behalf for the past 23 years

It has been an honor and privilege for me to serve you on the Oro Valley Town Council since June of 2004. I am looking to the future, planning for new growth pressures and working to sustain and protect existing lifestyles.

As a Council Member Barry has served as Vice Mayor in 2005 and as liaison to the OV Planning Commission, Water Utility Commission and alternate to the Pima Association of Governments and Amphitheater School District


Vision
We need to assure the quality of life we presently enjoy without compromising the future generation’s enjoyment. I am committed to this principal and I will continue to work to balance environmental, social and economic considerations to achieve sustainability for current and future Oro Valley residents. Priorities for my next term will be to:

 

-Continue rebuilding, strengthening and sustaining the Town’s financial standing through prudent management.

-Diversify Oro Valley's revenue stream with high quality low-impact developments such as resort based tourism, and high-tech and professional level employers.

-Improve existing environmental standards and also develop new standards for critical needs such as environmentally sensitive lands.

-Advocate for strong public safety and professional fire fighting services.

-Support historical and cultural preservation in Oro Valley.
